Gonadorelin
Gonadorelin is a peptide that mimics GnRH, the natural signal that tells the pituitary to release the reproductive hormones LH and FSH. Because of this, it's studied in research on hormone balance and reproductive signaling.
In research, it has been studied for its effects on testosterone production, libido and sexual function, menstrual and hormone regulation in women, and overall hormonal balance.
Key Terms:
- GnRH (Gonadotropin-Releasing Hormone): The signal that stimulates release of reproductive hormones.
- LH (Luteinizing Hormone): Regulates testosterone in men and ovulation in women.
- FSH (Follicle-Stimulating Hormone): Supports sperm production in men and egg development in women.
